A Brief History

of SOTOGRANDE

In 1962, Filipino Freddy Melian, sent by Ayala Corporation, searched Spain’s Mediterranean coast for the ideal site for a luxury resort. After an extensive motorcycle journey, he discovered Finca Paniagua near Gibraltar.
